Location
Birdsong Cottage is located just 2 kms from the
centre of Bermagui and its shops and beaches. Take the road opposite
the Bermagui Fisherman's Co-op, follow it for 2kms and you will see
a blue pole on the right hand side marked with the number 86.
The cottage sits in a hectare of bush, surrounded by majestic
spotted gums and stringy barks.
Wildlife
The bush is alive with birds and assorted wildlife. Lyrebirds,
Wonga pigeons, Bower birds, King parrots, Parakeets and the ever
present Bell birds can all be seen and heard on the property.
There is also a good chance of seeing Wallabies in the evening,
Goannas, Possums, Honey Gliders and the occasional Echidna. There
are a number of small ponds on the property that contain fish and
frogs and attract many birds.
Accommodation
Birdsong comprises two, fully self contained adjacent cottages
linked by a common deck/breezeway. During the summer school
holidays, December – January, the property is let as a single
dwelling sleeping up to ten people. This makes Birdsong an ideal
holiday accommodation for a large extended family, two families
wishing to holiday together, or a group of friends. Both dwellings
are well equipped with TV, DVD, HiFi, washing machines, microwave
and conventional cook tops and ovens. Both also have barbeques.
Children and well behaved, controlled pets are welcome.
During the remainder of the year, February – November, one only of
the cottages is available, sleeping a
maximum of five people.

Both cottages are only available as a single let sleeping 10.
